Started in the end of 2016 Banda Fulô plays Brazilian music, with styles like Samba-Funk, Pop and Brazilian Jazz.
Fulô means flower in portuguese, which is the name and nickname of the two leading ladies: Floor Polder (NL) and Elizabeth Fadel (BR).
The show has a high level of instrumental music together with joyful songs!
Lively own compositions and strong arrangements stand out, as well as the bright and cheerful performance! Banda Fulô finds inspiration in composers like Hamilton de Holanda, Hermeto Pascoal and Lenine.

Due to the unfortunate pandemic that hit the planet, we musicians of BANDA FULÔ also got by suprise in a way that put in jeopardy the planning for the following years. Tour dates canceled made impossible for musicians to get their income, even to pay for musical projects likes this one.

BANDA FULÔ
Banda Fulô is een Rotterdamse Band met Nederlandse en Braziliaans muzikanten. Met de twee vrouwelijke componisten en oprichtsters van de band ,Floor Polder ( NL fluitist) en Elizabeth Fadel (BR pianist), maken zij een bijzondere connectie tussen Nederland en Brazilië.
Op meerdere podia heeft banda Fulô gestaan zoals o.a, Summertime festival Den Haag, Jazz Festival Delft, Muziek op de Rotte, Rotterdam Podium Grounds, Rotterdam en Landjuweel in Ruigoord.
Fulô betekent 'Flor' in het noordoosten van Brazilië, ook wel bloem in het Nederlands. Banda Fulô, staat garant voor een groovy mix van Braziliaanse en Jazz muziek. Gefascineerd door de rijkheid van de Braziliaanse muziek valt hun muziek op door de levendig en speelsheid in eigen hun composities!
